1324 Tasting Notes
Sipdown!
So this was my last cup of this one. I noticed a large brown twig in the leaf. Which was definitely strange. I didn’t add it to the infuser. I wonder where it came from because it definitely wasn’t from me. Very Mysterious… Anyway I still don’t love this one like everyone else seems to. I’m so glad I tried it though.
Preparation
So This is an old free tea sample I got in the mail about 2 years ago. I found it in a moving box recently along with a Breakfast Black tea. I don’t have much to say since I gulped this cup down rather quickly. Just let it be noted that this was really good, the best bagged green I’ve ever had. It wasn’t nearly as vegetal as most bagged green teas. Unfortunately I’ve never seen this sold in stores near me otherwise I might consider grabbing a box.
Preparation
This was one of 6 teas in TJ’s Christmas sampler this year. These teas as far as I know are not sold separately or available any other time of the year. Perhaps they will be in the future though.
The flavors blend nicely in this herbal although it’s not anything special. I’m hardly ever in the mood for this type of blend as I don’t generally like the taste of sleepy time tea blends. I prefer drinking plain chamomile or plain lavender tea. I was in the mood for this though the past few days.
The peppermint, chamomile, and lavender are mainly what I’m picking up on. Surprisingly I didn’t taste any of the lemongrass that’s supposed to be in this one. This was the last of the bunch that I had left to try again when I was actually in the mood for it.
My favorite out of all of them is still by bar the Moringa Matcha.
Flavors: Hay, Herbs, Lavender, Peppermint
Mine has twigs, too. I think they’re part of the blend, strange to say!
Really? Good to know. I only had this one in the whole bag so I wasn’t sure.
