After I saw AJRimmer’s review on this one and it being a natural tasting mango tea it was on my wishlist. This one happened to go on sale during a free shipping window so in my cart it went. I steeped a mug of this one but then forgot about it until it was cold.
Luckily it’s still really good cold! The mango is delicious and better than a lot of other DT mango blends. (I do love Mango Fruit Punch though) I usually don’t like lemongrass but it’s perfectly balanced here just like the peppermint is. Two ingredients that I’m not fond of but really work here. The fruitiness with the minty notes is the perfect balance and a tricky combo to not end up tasting off. Often times you end up with a bit of funkiness or inconsistency between cups but none of that in this mug.
There’s also something quite nostalgic here as well but I just can’t place it. Is it grandma’s homemade peach mint iced tea during the summer? I wish I could remember.
