I wanted this to be spicier and more interesting than it is. I don’t get much chai taste or spiciness in general. It’s a toasty, warm, chocolate tea with a tiny hint of spice. I have chocolate teas that I prefer over this one (mainly the Hot Chocolate tea and Red Velvet Cake tea from David’sTea).
I’m honestly not incredibly knowledgeable about teas. My experience with tea is mainly with Adagio when I am in the States and DavidsTea when I am in Canada. DavidsTea made me fall in love with tea. I was initially seduced by their cake flavored teas and then started branching out and finding more and more to love. I like all of their bright colors and seasonal mugs, and I enjoy their fun ‘flavored teas’ as much as their more traditional teas. I figure this is at least a good starting point :)
