3 Tasting Notes
This tea was a gift from a friend, as I do not usually buy mate or tea with any of the following ingredients: rose petals, cloves, licorice, or pineapple. I could not drink it hot, since the overwhelming taste was of licorice. When I poured it over ice, the taste was sweet, but still tainted by the sweet bitterness caused by the licorice and rose petals. I think I may try to give this tea to one of my friends. The “whole-leaf pouch” is ridiculously adorable, though. It’s crocheted closed and the string is crocheted and attached to the paper. My other problem with this tea is that it is individually wrapped in plastic. Seems like a waste of materials.
Well…I didn’t actually drink this, but I just ordered it and I am really excited about it. I was going to look and see what you all thought about it, but no one had logged drinking it, so I created this page! I am not usually a huge fan of green teas, but we’ll see.
