I bought a bag of this at one of the stores in Colonial Williamsburg. I wasn’t expecting much, but it’s pretty good. The dry leaves smell sweet. I put three or four teaspoons of it into the easy gaiwan and steeped it for 30 seconds in 180°F water. The tea tastes sweet, a little smokey, and maybe a bit fruity and buttery. It has a nice, full flavor. After the first cup, it seemed to get a little stronger. It’s more smokey and meaty, and less sweet and fruity.
