4 Tasting Notes
I received this tea in the caffeine free pack from DavidsTea. It’s a very light, relaxing taste that’s very soothing – it reminds me of Sleepytime Tea. It’s kind of vegetative and hay-like with mint character to it. Definitely a good tea to sit down and relax with.
Flavors: Hay, Mint, Vegetal
Preparation
I received this tea in the caffeine free pack. I believe I may have brewed it wrong (too much tea maybe?) but the flavor was very unpleasant. It was very citrusy and floral, but not in a good way. It was like rotten citrus peel and rotten flowers. I may one day get around to trying this again, but it is definitely not at the top of my list for a repurchase.
Flavors: Citrus, Floral, Lemon Zest, Orange, Orange Zest, Vegetal
Preparation
I had this as my first tea this morning, and just opening up the container was the beginning to a lovely experience. I opened it and it smelled like warm cinnamon and apple. After I brewed it, the nutty character came out and the flavor was amazing. I don’t add sweetener to my tea, but this one would definitely be enhance by a little sugar to bring out the sweetness of the cinnamon. This is definitely a good one!
Flavors: Apple, Cinnamon, Fruity, Nutty
Preparation
I had this tea this morning – I was very excited when I bought it yesterday because it smelled delicious and looked so fun. However, I am left kind of disappointed by the taste – it is almost a movie theater, chemical butter note that I got from it. I feel it needs less butter, more sweet, creamy vanilla in it. I don’t think I will be repurchasing this.
Flavors: Anise, Butter, Butterscotch, Cake, Vanilla
