I love Earl Grey teas, so when I saw this available for swap on the swaps thread, I had to pounce on it. oOTeaOo and I worked out a swap, and a new earl is mine. I am actually quite surprised that I haven’t tried Adagio’s Earl before, as I have ordered samples of several of their teas.
I don’t know if I brewed this wrong, shouldn’t have added cream (but I drink all my earls with a splash of cream), should have steeped longer, not sure, it just doesn’t have much flavor. It doesn’t have much scent compared to the two earl’s I’ve been feinding over the last month (RoT’s Earl Greyer and Lupicia’s Earl Grey). There is some off-putting scent coming from the steeped leaves that I can’t place, and don’t care to play around with right now. Maybe I will give this tea another chance another day without any additives, but for now, this is going down the drain.

Mix with some sort of black you like, and try it iced. Refreshing! That’s what I did with the 4 oz I had & didn’t like.
Longer jumps out at me, but then again there are lots of people that drink their blacks in the 3 min range. I’m just not one of them lol.

Adagio’s blacks, especially the flavored, i can’t seem to stand after 3 minutes. Then again, the only black flavored I enjoy of the many I’ve sampled is the Currant.
JaxquelineM-I’ve got loads of English Breakfast from Teavana. I think it’s time I make up a pitcher with the rest of this sample tin!
