Organic Vanilla Almond comes in a tea sachet which I much prefer to tea bags. With a sachet I can still see the black loose-leaf tea and sliced almonds inside. I won’t abide by tea-dust!

This blend smells incredible dry! The infusion is a dark copper and the aroma is more almond than vanilla. At first sip, I can taste the almonds. The body isn’t particularly full, but the black tea has a nice enough flavor. The finish is all creamy, rich vanilla, which always works for me. I added a dash of almond milk and raw sugar to my second cup and that really helped the flavor develop.

All in all this tea makes for a decent afternoon cuppa.

I’m an animal loving vegan foodie, and a card carrying tea fanatic! Didn’t you get your card?

I typically drink my black tea with a splash of almond or coconut cream and a dash of turbinado sugar or stevia. My green teas I typically drink straight, and the same goes for most of my other teas with an occasional exception. I live on the edge!

I’m also a bit of a knitwit. I have an Etsy shop where I sell pretty little knitted and knitting accessories called Baubles 4 Knitwits at www.Baubles4Knitwits.etsy.com.
