7 Tasting Notes
Picked this tea up from Davids the other day, not really knowing how to feel about this one. I like popcorn however not sure how I would like it as a tea flavour (although I do like popcorn flavoured jelly beans). It actually is quite pleasant. It tastes as it smells so if you don’t like the smell, it probably isn’t for you. I’m not picking up too much green tea taste here which is great. Not sure making it was a good idea though because now I have a craving for some kettle corn.. Mmmm…
I love this tea. The first time I tried it I was not fond of it at all. I figured I’d drink it to not waste but I definitely wasn’t going to buy it again. The further into the cup I got, the more the taste started to grow on me! Now I find myself reaching for this one in the morning. If there aren’t any goji berries in the mix it’s not as good but next time I’m at David’s I’m purchasing more of this one.
Preparation
The aroma of this tea is to die for! I would love to have a candle that smelled like this. So I brew this tea.. hoping that it tastes as good as it smells and it does! I’m a little disappointed with the flavour hot so I iced it and it was amazing! To make it delicious though requires the use of a lot of tea which gets very expensive. One I’ll definitely miss when gone.
I’m not a big fan of this tea. I bought it on the recommendation of a friend who loves it. I found the chocolate underwhelming (and better saved for hot chocolate) and the spice that it totes as having I didn’t find. I kept waiting for that nice kick that others have described. I’m going to try this one as a latte and see if it makes any difference.
