Bag: The muslin(cotton weave) tea bags are packaged in individual plastic foil backed bags. On the label they have the brew time and temperature in Celsius.
Tea: Brewed at about 175-180F for 3.5 minutes the tea is a light green color. Aroma was mild with a light floral scent and the scent of pine nuts. Flavor was a floral with a very mild vegetal taste common with green teas. Astringency was low.
Notes: This tea was from the Kusmi Tea Essentials pack of 24 teas, and each tea bag was about $0.94usd. I usually find Darjeeling teas too floral for my taste like eating a handful of flowers. This was just right though, I would buy a couple of oz.

Tea: Brewed at about 200F for 4 minutes the tea is a light amber color. Aroma was strong with the scent of earthy licorice, and orange bitters. Flavor was distinct with the taste of licorice, vanilla, and citrus with cool menthol like cooling on the back of my tong and in my sinuses. Astringency was nil.
Notes: This tea was from the Kusmi Tea Essentials pack of 24 teas, and each tea bag was about $0.94usd. Not sure what to expect when a tea is called Label Imperial, maybe more like an over powering flowery tea, not what this is. The ingredients read as follows “Imperial Blend” …. really. I hate it when tea companies are all hush hush about their ingredients. Like does this contain caffeine or not? I may never know. What I see in the tea bag is Licorice root bits about 6mm long, vanilla flower, 1cm green tea leaves, citrus rind, and some berry. That being said I did enjoy it but its something I would only be able to drink in the winter, its a bit too heavy for a summer drink and would probably do well with a teaspoon of sugar. Taste like Jager with orange bitters if I had to compare it to another beverage.

Tea: Brewed at about 200F for 4 minutes the tea is a dark orange maple color. Aroma was strong with the scent of anise and cinnamon. Flavor was distinct with the taste of licorice(Anise) and cinnamon(Cardamom). Astringency was light.
Notes: This tea was from the Kusmi Tea Essentials pack of 24 teas, and each tea bag was about $0.94usd. I was not sure what to expect from a tea called Kashmir Tchai, maybe something more spicy. Anise isn’t my favorite spice but I can imagine drinking this in the winter with a teaspoon of sugar. Its very smooth and a pleasure to drink but is not distinctive in flavor. Label reads Traditional Blend of Teas and Spices. That being said I can taste the Anise, Mate, and Green Cardamom as well as I can see 1cm long Black tea leaves in the bag.

Tea: Brewed at about 200F for 4 minutes the tea is a reddish maple color. Initial aroma was not something that I am used to in a tea, sweet and smoky tobacco. The flavor was much the same, a light refreshing smoky flavor somewhere between whiskey and tobacco that lingered for a about a half a minute. Astringency was mild.
Notes: This tea was from the Kusmi Tea Essentials pack of 24 teas, and each tea bag was about $0.94usd. The tea is called Detox which is quite off-putting to me because many times companies will forego flavor for supposed health benefits but I am happy to say that this tea is competitive in the flavor category. Ingredients on the label read Mate, Green Tea, and Lemon Grass. That being said I did not taste the green tea which is listed on the lable.

Bag: Leaves are about 3-4mm in length, bag is white filter paper. Tag contains name of tea and brew length which is 4-5 minutes.
Tea: Dark Maple syrup colored after 4 minute brew at about 200F. Aroma is a light earthy smell, barely noticeable. Flavor mild even earthy flavor nothing to write home about, with a rough astringent after taste that drys the back of the tong. After getting through most of the cup there was an was a mild oak flavor coming through.
Notes: I wouldn’t get this tea again, It was too astringent (bitter drying aftertaste). After drinking 12oz of the tea I needed a glass of ice water. Luckily I was able to try this out at a local coffee place without having to buy the whole box.
