391 Tasting Notes
With milk and sugar this morning… I wonder if I’m not steeping it long enough or adding too little tea. It’s not a strong taste as I’d hoped for but still tastes good. I guess that’s why it’s good to buy enough to try it a few ways to experiment for something that tastes good to me.
Finally opened up one of my Verdant Teas from my first order! It’s a really fluffy tea what with flowery things and spice pods so things kept falling out of my spoon. I figured I should err on the side of caution so I added more. I broke in my David’s Tea cup too :D The smell is spicy and at first I wasn’t sure that I brewed it long enough because the color was so light. I am drinking it just with water but I think it’s really tasty – spicy but smooth. I would like to try the milk and honey sometime that sounds yummy.
I’ve actually had this like 4 times without putting it on my tealog :) oops. I really like the smell, it definitely has the strawberry milkshake smell. But when I brew it, it doesn’t really have a milkshake taste. The strawberry is strong, so I like it but not as creamy as I thought it’d be. I get hints of it on some sips, some not at all. I’ve been having it unsweetened no milk, so those will be next on my list but I just haven’t had the time yet. I’ve been taking it to school just as is because it’s so hard to get up in the morning.
