171 Tasting Notes
I had been eyeing this one for a bit now. I must admit the price swayed me for awhile. But, my husband cancelled our plans to go out with his old high school friend, so in the midst of a hissy fit I finally bought it. lol
I love rooibos in the evening. I’m really not getting much of a vanilla from it though. Apple and cinnamon come through quite a bit, the spice is actually a little strong. It is quite nice though, I will buy it again… next time I throw a hissy fit. ;)
Preparation
I had a hankering for some green tea, but alas it is after 8pm so I thought I’d give this one a try. The smell was very nice when I opened it’s little foil sachet. After it was steeped I added a little bit of agave and skim milk.
The first sip taste like nothing, like warm milk. But the second sip got a little bolder with a quite pleasant after taste. I was pleasantly surprised by this decaf.
Preparation
Loved this! It was the tea of the day, which they feature iced. I opted to order it hot, with skim milk. It is very nice. Naturally has a sweetness to it, the cinnamon is strong. cocoa is smooth, definitely going to buy this one!
I do like an iced Mint Chocolate Rooibos, but that’s the only other one I have enjoyed and I’ve tried quite a few. The cinnamon in this is great.
This is my 9 year old daughter’s favourite tea, So I’m going to let her review this one.
“I like this one as much as I can possibly like tea. The ingredients are really cool, not like you would have in a regular tea and it tastes really good. When it’s an iced tea it’s really sweet, as a hot tea it has an unusual flavour but I really like it. I prefer it as an iced tea.”
Preparation
Normally when someone describes a taste as “Earthy” I prepare to hate it. But, my favourite DT-er was in today and recommended this with Soy Milk to accent the “Earthiness” so I went for it. OH MY WORD! Rich, earthy goodness. This is the way tea was intended to taste.
Oh heck no! After half a cup I felt light headed. lol. Way too intense for me. I do plan to purchase some to ingest in small quantities.
I love this tea. Of course discovering this site inspired me to hit up DT today. I first tried and loved this on when I purchased it for my Earl Grey loving mother for Christmas. We tried every variation of Earl Grey that DT has to offer. At that point this was the one I was most keen on. The Aroma is very pleasant, quite floral with a hint of sweetness.
Once you taste is, the berry is quite dominant in the flavour. However if you steep it the way I like it (3 min, boiling water) the EG taste still makes it’s way out from the shadows.
Preparation
I love this iced. It’s tart like grapefruit and super refreshing. I had the opportunity to try it when it was offered as a tea of the day. I took it to work with me and by the end of the day all 6 of us had gone to get our own and all loved it.
Preparation
I consider myself an Earl Grey Buff. This is one of my favourites. Perfect tea to go along with arrowroot cookies. Enjoying a cup right now. It tastes great iced with Agave nectar, hot with milk or hot black.
