Used to be my favorite tea shop. My son and I used to go a couple of times a month for years. I think I’ve only been there twice this year. Don’t see much variation in the tea menu since my days as a regular. What they have is great and the owner is friendly. The seating area is beautiful yet small.
The tea is pretty good. The staff are great. The fruited chicken salad sandwiches are famous! They are always adding new tea favors. They have the best bubble tea I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is calming.
I like that they have a tea bar there. You can try a cup of tea before dropping the big bucks on a few ounces to take home. I read today that Starbucks (of all places) has acquired Teavana. They are comparing Tazo tea with the quality of Teavana. Really? Tazo, howbeit delicious, is not in the same league as Teavana.
Not the best place for tea, but for coffee, you can’t beat it.
This is the best tea house in town. The atmosphere is refined and the staff are always upbeat and gracious. The owner, Mary, makes the best scones EVER!
