This is one of my favorite teas. I have it with a sprinkle of Himalayan pink salt and it is a perfect savory treat. I grew up having fires every night or two in our backyard, where friends would come over and we would all share our lives around the fire ( we even had extra “fire coats” for last minute drop in guests if they got chilly). The smokiness of this tea takes me back and reminds me of my family. It is like a warm hug. Of all of the Lapsang Souchongs I’ve tried, this is the best. I have many other Carytown Teas and find them to be of high quality. The fact that they are organic and fair trade are important to me as well. Everyone should give this tea a try!! I only dock 2 points because although the taste is strong, I could have it stronger.
