39 Tasting Notes
After a bad experience with a milk oolong from DTH, this was my first (the second if we take into account the milky oolong) oolong.
It has become my favourite tea (not taking into account black tea and shou pu erh).
Is sweet, smooth, with a floral and wood touch. Is soft. I really recommend this tea.
Flavors: Floral, Smooth, Sweet, Wood
Preparation
This is my favourite tea when I do my own massala chai with cinnamon, cardomom, clove, black pepper and milk. I brew the CTC tea with all those ingredients with boiling water and then I add some milk. Is delicious.
This tea alone is really malty and strong, perfect for those who like a strong and malty lack tea in the morning. I can feel the cafeine punch after drinking it.
Flavors: Malt
Preparation
This is a not a very special shou. In my opinion there are better options for this price.
I brew it western style with boiling water and I found it smooth, malty and perhaps with a little cocoa touch. Is not bitter but isn’t also sweet. I don’t know how to describe it well.
Flavors: Smooth
