I don’t even remember receiving this sample, but I found it last night while digging through my stash. WHAT AN EXCITING FIND! The caramel flavor is great in this, with a very nice touch of the salty.

Day 9- 12 Teas of XMAS

Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I loved opening up a Halloween themed tea! This is good, it captures the taste of candy corn pretty well, and is very sweet.

Day 8- 12 Teas of XMAS

I agree with other reviews on this when I say that this tastes more like candy than actual rum. And I would even agree that it comes through a lot like butterscotch. Very meh.

Day 7- 12 Teas of XMAS

I already own this one, and I really like it. I wish there was a bit more toffee taste to this, but I like it.

I AM SO BEHIND ON THESE REVIEWS! Btw, it’s the 23rd, and I’m up to date with my sampler, and this one is my favorite of the bunch. Great peanut butter flavor, the cheesecake comes through, it doesn’t feel overdone, and the rooibos is a good match!

Day 5- 12 Teas of XMAS

This one is really pretty good, and captures the flavor of french toast very well. It is sweet but not too sweet, and there are definite bread/eggy flavors in this. There’s a pretty big pop of cinnamon, but it works.

Day 4- 12 Teas of XMAS

My first thought about this was, “WHY GENMAICHA?”. I love some genmaicha but I just don’t think the nutty, buttery taste I get from it pairs well with s’mores flavors. I get a little bit of chocolate and maybe even some graham cracker taste from this, but the nutty/buttery overpowers it and hides any mention of marshmallow. There’s also a very smoky quality about it…

Day 3- 12 Teas of XMAS

I wasn’t terribly excited about this one, as I’m not a huge fan of banana flavored things.. But it turned out to actually taste pretty decent. There’s a good, creamy banana taste that doesn’t seem artificial. Would I order more? No. But it was an enjoyable flavor.

Day 2- 12 Teas of XMAS

Ok, after being insanely disappointed with day 1 (Smaug)*, this was slightly more exciting.

It is good, and has a pretty decent root beer flavor, but I am a huge fan of Butiki’s root beer float tea… and the Butiki root beer blows this one away, sorry to say.

*So as a geeky person, I can definitely appreciate that the Smaug tea was on the first day, considering the Hobbit just got released. I thought that was fun. However, these are flavors I just could never imagine enjoying in a tea. Hopefully I will work up enough courage to try it at some point, but most likely passing this one along to a friend :/

Got this as a sample. I mostly only notice the applesauce flavor. But there is a more subtle flavor that is hard for me to describe. I assume this is the “potato pancake”. It almost adds a salty? flavor to this tea? If that makes sense? It’s good, but I probably won’t order more.
