I first tried this at Siptea out in downtown LA. It was so good, I bought a couple ounces to take home with me. The vanilla smells absolutely amazing — every time I introduce a new friend to this, the usual reaction is “whoa.”
I’m such an amateur. This is the only tea I buy. I microwave a mug of water for 2 minutes. And then I steep for another 2-3 minutes.
I went on jacks recommendation and this is the best chai I have found out of India, it’s a good balance of spicy and milky, great value too.

Delicious one-dollar chai served up in a dixie cup at a hole-in-the-wall 24-hour hangout for South Asian cabbies. Very New York. Very delicious.
