I think I’m in the same place with this one. I can’t get over how amazing it smells, even once steeped. But I can’t get around it tasting watered-down to me. I used a bit of cream today instead of the almond milk I normally do to help but it hasn’t made much difference. It definitely doesn’t feel watered down, but it tastes that way.
The spice leaves a little tingle though it doesn’t pack the punch the description promises. It does, though, sting if you’ve got dry/chapped lips!
In total agreement with you. I really, really wanted / expected to like this tea more. I think it’s the first David’sTea I’ve encountered that does not taste pretty much the same as it smells.
