I got my latest order from 52Teas. I know, I know, I wasn’t going to order any more tea, but when there are so many yummy teas available it is hard to resist! This one was the sample included in my small order so I decided to open it first.
Holy wow! This is one tasty fruit and spice tea. I have a little bit of my sense of smell. Not enough. it better get stronger. But there is enough that when I opened the pouch I was able to catch a bit of a heavenly aroma. it really, really does smell like fall. Juicy apple and pear, with warm spices. The leaf is beautiful. Lots and lots of cardamom and juniper berries. It brews up dark and rich. When it was still pretty warm the apple was in the forefront. As it cooled, the spices took center stage. I am so glad I was sent this as a sample. I don’t believe I’ve had a 52Tea that I didn’t like, but this one goes beyond like. It is exactly what a warm autumn tea should be.
