Tonight I went with an old favorite. I was a little disappointed because it didn’t taste like much. I guess my sense of taste is just as bad as my smell now. I still enjoyed it. A nice, warm, comforting cup. And I love seeing the tea in the strainer. The chunks of pear and cranberries expand while the tea steeps, and it just looks so appealing. This will remain a favorite even if I can’t really taste it.
I think I’m really on the road to recovery from this pneumonia. I actually got some cleaning and laundry done today and I don’t feel exhausted. I even cut out the pirate pants for the fantasy fashion show at RAGT. Only 1 day left of the Augmentin. Nasty stuff. But it seems to be working, so yay!

I came down with pneumonia twenty years ago when I was in nursing school. Never been so sick before or since. It took me a solid month to recover and remember being on erythromycin for quite a while. Augmentin is nasty, I agree, but it sure works. Glad you’re getting better! :)
Yeah, I’m tired again today. The fever was gone on the 2nd or 3rd day of augmentin, so it does work. I guess it just takes time to really get over pneumonia. A month for you? I hope I get better faster than that. And I hope this diarrhea clears up too!
Nurse’s advice – You need some Florastor! The Augmentin has wiped out the good bacteria in your colon – That causes diarrhea. Florastor replaces the good bacteria that the antibiotic has killed. No prescription needed and works great! Eating yogurt helps too!
Oh no, I hope you’ll get better soon. I had no idea you had pneumonia. :(
I’m drinking this right now too! Cheers and get some rest.

I haven’t heard of florastor. I’ll look for it!

Thanks, Fjellrev. I’m on the road to recovery. Just taking some time.
