I managed to prepare this tea without making a complete mess on the desk. Celebrate good times! Yesterday I spilled everything I touched. Also yesterday I ate like a 20 year old single guy – nuked frozen burritos, refried beans, hot dogs, and Velvetta and macaroni. Today I woke up 57 and realized that was not the best behavior. I’ll be switching to puerh shortly but wanted some octane in the tank first.
I had no idea what to expect from this one. A&D’s description gives no clues. Terri told me to steep this for 4 minutes. That seems like a long time. Many breakfast type black tea gives me stomach burn so I usually go no more than 3 minutes. I went with 4 today and this is not bitter and did not seem to hurt. A light hint of smoke, some briskness, a little malt. On my scale somewhere between English Breakfast and Prince of Wales in intensity. Actually leaning more toward the mellow side.

Good GOSH, yo, that sounds like my food nightmare! I mean, granted, occasionally all I want is frozen pizza and ramen (and okay, so I eat more ramen than a woman of my age should, owing to the whole unemployment thing) but STILL. Please tell me you’re feeding yourself better today!
K S, I’m glad you could indulge yesterday, but you need to get some greens in that body of yours now…want my delicious kale/spinach/avocado green smoothie recipe? It’s so yummy… Uh, what, no? You’re not interrested, really? lol, I know, I know, you’re just not that kind of guy, can’t blame me for trying though :-)
The Hubster and I are reaching that screeching-halt realization that we can no longer eat like college students. Rats.
Oooo, BLERG! I need puerh just from reading what you ate! I am in the same boat…lots of things that I wish I could eat, but I know better…most of the time.
I know better and I paid for it. Oh for the good old days when there seemed to be no consequences. I have stayed away from doughnuts for a year and a half now. A local baker makes a cinnamon roll that feels like it weighs 5 pounds. They are so good but I have NOT turned into their parking lot. Why can’t broccoli taste like cinnamon rolls?
Yay for no spillage!
Yay! :-)

Sami Kelsh, today I have had a glass of milk and some dry cereal. Not so hungry today. lol
