It’s been a slow, lazy morning and I still feel stretchy and as though I could go for a knap in a little while. I probably shouldn’t though, as that would likely mess up my ability to fall asleep tonight.
I had this with my French toast breakfast this morning, and nailed the steeping parameters perfectly. Such a smooth and appropriately bold cup to accompany breakfast. I’m realizing that I really enjoy what I’ve tried of darjeelings so far, and am considering ordering a sampler from Upton tea imports, although to be honest, the variety is rather overwhelming, and I’d probably just end up picking a sampler at random.
I don’t have much on the agenda for today, which is lovely. I still get these occasional twinges of guilt because I “should be studying for the exam” but then I joyously realize that the exam is long gone, and I can sit around and be lazy and irresponsible again.
Just so I can do this again: 1 tsp of tea, usual amount of rock sugar, splash of cream, about 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Mmm.
