I LOVE fruit teas.
lindairvine and I ordered a bunch of tea this past week and this was one of our choices.Of course I pick all the fruity,citrusy flowery ones and she goes for the richer darker textured teas.We make a great team and always discover new things that we would not have thought of to try before.I saw this and knew instantly I had to have it,try it and hopefully love it.When I steeped it the smell kind of wierded me out there was this almost spicy meaty texture (hibiscus?)to it that I could not place so I was hesitant to sip it right away.
Thankfully the taste was much better tart light and refreshing.I think it would be great iced and with booze.
This is a very tart tea which I actually like but may not be for everyone I think this is a fruit tea that is an acquired taste and has so many different things going on it may be hard to come to terms with.Overall I enjoyed it not as much as other fruit teas I’ve had but it’s still quite nice and I will be making it iced in the summer.
