Caffeine-Free/Decaf Traveling Tea Box

I brewed 8oz of this with 1 bag and then put it in the fridge to cool. My first thought was, why did they take something that smelled absolutely delightful in the bag and make it into something so gross?! Maybe if you like licorice you’ll enjoy this, but cold it tastes like orange and licorice which is not a great combination. Plus, who decided to put spearmint in it? Because everyone loves the toothpaste + orange juice taste. No, just no.

The only way this was palatable was adding a boatload of sweetener. These bags will be heading on their way!

Those were my exact thoughts after I bought it. The name made it sound so delicious! Downright wrong.

I recently discovered loose leaf tea and am already addicted (much to my husband’s dismay)! I prefer fruity teas iced and savory teas hot. Looking forward to drinking and chatting.

Some likes/dislikes I’ve been noticing:

Likes:
Pineapple
Jasmine
Fruity White Teas
lighters Blacks
Most Oolongs (especially greener varieties)
dessert teas
tisanes iced that don’t require added sweetener

Dislikes:
Spicy flavors unless in chai
astringent black teas
heavy ginger teas
teas with licorice (as primary ingredients – somehow I like some where the licorice is in the back drop)
heavily oxidized oolongs

For my own reference, I’m only placing “full size” teas in my cupboard.
