Which teas are you buying for the holiday season?
Ideas suggestions on what teas to buy? Any special Christmas teas?
My only intentional purchase is going to be Santa’s Secret from Davids which I love and am out of. MMMM!
I got the Harney holiday tea, Kusmi Christmas tea and felt compelled to buy Celestial Seasonings even though they are pretty meh. Oh, and David’s and 52teas advent calendars.
If I will be able to sample really curious abt Tsarevna by Kusmi. It’s limited edition. But I need to sample, no more blind buying.
Yeah, me too. I emailed them seeing if I could get a sample but nope. They did say orders right now will include a sample though.
Not sure, I’m still in Autumn.
These look good though. http://www.lupiciausa.com/v/static/monthly-magazine/1147-pg2.html
I went to Lupicia today and saw these there. White Christmas looked and smelled delicious. I got to sample Carol hot (which was good but didn’t feel holiday-special to me) and Jingle Bells iced (which I ended up purchasing because the champagne-type flavor felt very celebratory to me).
Isn’t it nice that Lupicia named a tea after me? I feel so honored. I’m really excited to try it!
The weather in my state is not supporting that fact that I want to stay in Autumn. What is a good tea for snowy days?
@Carol Who- That was very nice of them. It sounds really good too.
I think I’m gonna order a big bag of Suki Tea’s ‘Spiced Citrus’ blend – it was really delicious last year and, though it has changed slightly in name and composition, the ingredients list is primarily identical so it should still be great :D
I usually buy a caramel (black) tea and a white Christmas tea (= green tea with coconut and ginger).
I picked up Figgy Pudding from Capital Teas. I also buy Candy Cane Lane from Celestial Seasonings every year. If Della Terra sells their Candy Cane blend (vanilla/mint/chocolate) I’ll pick that up, too.
Oooh those new Lupicia holiday teas… I must have them all! :P
I noticed you updated the pic for White Christmas, Cameron! I’m gonna have to get some of that one again!
I think they had those teas last year, but the tins are different and so cute. I loved Jingle Bells , I recall. Just ordered some including some of the tea bags that I’ll give as gifts to friends who still haven’t switched to loose tea.
