Banned account
Anyone knows if steepster admins do ban account without any notification?
I cannot post to discussions anymore from my account, while I can do post the same message, in the same discussion, from the same computer if I use a different account.
I believe that if anything is done that violates Steepster’s terms of use, an account can be deleted without notification.
They didn’t deleted the account. I can still follow people and, from time to time, post a message. Let’s say one out of ten.
Sometime it is enough to change a word from capital to lower case, and it works.
I asked support submitting a ticket here:

Now answer in days… any suggestion?
It’s probably just the site being wonky. I had a period where I could use everything on the site except the discussion boards, and I know there were a few other people who had the same problem at the time. That would only result in a terms of service popup. Emailed Jason and they sorted it out as quickly as possible.
I do know that they’ve been experiencing problems with the website and it could be that you weren’t actually banned but that the website is hitting a “down time” and that the message didn’t appear immediately because of the website issues.
I don’t know if that’s the reason your messages aren’t being seen.
Also, if your messages are to a specific tea note, I do know that the writers of the tea note have the option of deleting someone else’s comments.
Again, I don’t know if that’s what you’re experiencing either.
The messages are not even uploaded, they are rejected. When I post something, instead of getting the green box on the right-down corner saying “message sent”, an orange box pop up instead saying that the message could not be sent; I should try later.
Then I log off, log in again with a different account, and everything goes smooth: same computer, same message, on the same discussion is posted without problems.
