Butiki Teas: Mystery Teas Revealed!!! Herbs & Spices?
I had an actual, visceral reaction to seeing this topic, and I’m just… kind of mentally adrift at the moment. One of my first official ventures into the big world of tea was through Butiki, and it was such an influential experience overall. I wagged those lovely black packages under the noses of anyone who would give me half a second to gush. It’s how I got my sisters into tea at all. No one can resist the charm of a good, sweet cuppa. I told myself I’d place an order as soon as I’d cleaned up the cupboard a little more, but a life devoid of With Open Eyes is really no life at all.
Even though I never placed an order with you, I was always planning to when my tea stash got down a bit. I’m still sad to hear you’re closing. Your teas are so popular. Best wishes on your new endeavours.

I can’t believe I missed this yesterday with being at school all day! Very sorry to hear you are closing but wish you all the best in your next ventures! I see that you got a crazy number of orders, hopefully I can get one more in before everything is gone!
I’m sure we will still have plenty of teas left plus we still have several new teas to be released. :)
Totally meant to post when I saw this yesterday, but time got out of hand. Lol. But awww, sad day man when I found out. Though I understand the desire to move on to new things. Still totally bummed that you’re closing everything out. Which means once I run out of my Caramel Vanilla Assam and Peach HoppiTea, that’s it. Makes me wish I had a vacusealer or something so I could order a bunch and just save it. Lol.
There’s so much that I still wanted to try so hopefully I’ll be able to order them before they run out. Though I saw mentions of new blends coming out so I’m torn between ordering now so what I want doesn’t run out, and waiting just to place one big order. Since there’s a few of the new blends that sound delicious.
I’m actually going to be doing that. I’m saving several kilos for myself by vacuum sealing them. Well if you want to order now, you can ask me to hold your order for later so you can add new teas. :)
ooo… I might have you do that Stacy… I’m eyeing that raspberry jam cashew one you spoke of….
I might do that aswell since I’d rather have them all shipped together.
Though I was wondering when the new blends are going to be put up? Mostly so I cam figure out budgeting stuff. XD
This is truly saddening but I am SO glad that I’ve got to try so many of your teas whether through the purchases from your store or through swaps and traveling boxes. I just ordered a bit more, especially of the Indian teas that I have been getting into more and more recently.
I wish you all the best with your future endeavors, Stacy. From what I have noticed on Steepster forum, you possess exceptional personality and have so much kindness and respect for others. I really hope we will get you to see you around here even after Butiki store is no more.

Just a short update. Unfortunately, it looks like we are currently 2-3 weeks out for mailing teas. If you placed an order on Monday, the 6th we should have those teas out by the end of next week. Sorry for the delay. Big thanks to everyone that placed an order. :)
Would it be possible to make an addition to an order placed on Monday? No worries if not; I’m pretty sure I’ll be placing another order for some of the new blends when they’re released anyway.

oh noooooooon Stacy !!! Thanks to you I began to drink straight teas and adore that now. I’m not sure I’ll be able to find out such a perfect tea as TWMB…I am so sad to terminate my personal story with this tea. Sounds like a terrible break-up. I’ll miss your teas and overall your taste and talent for teas.I am of course wishing you all the very best for your new professional life and personal life.
