Gall bladder blues

Yes, as you might have guessed,I had to have my gall bladder removed unexpectedly. Iamb worried I will never be able to drink tea again. Can anyone out there tell me how to best deal with this? I’m still in hospital, so I certainly have time to read responses!

Hope you recover quickly! I had my gallbladder removed in 2004 and have had no issue drinking any kind of tea.

Get well soon!!

I had mine out back in 2007, tea is pretty much the only thing I can drink that doesn’t cause my guts woe. If you are cursed with bile problems after removal, I found that PuriTea by Raizana really helps with the symptoms.

I had mine out unexpectedly after spending a night curled up in fetal position in some of the worst pain I have ever felt. I have never had a problem with drinking tea since then.

Just do what the doctor says for recovery, including walking and taking it easy. I hope you’re feeling better!

I know it’s not completely the same thing, but my aunt had hers out some ten years or so ago and it hasn’t made a difference in her coffee consumption, so I think you should be fine. I hope you get better soon.
