I like the idea of ignoring caffeine…as i have to work in the am
I’m not pretending to be an expert, but what I’ve learned/read/picked up – caffeine content depends on how it’s process and when it’s picked. “Buds” have more caffeine than full leaf – the more it’s processed the less caffeine, lots of variable. Basically assume all Camillia Sinensis has less caffeine than coffee but unless you get YOUR tea tested there is no guarantee that it’s lower because it’s “green”.
End of lecture – this is a party – I don’t worry about caffeine, I just don’t want someone who is sensitive to believe that green means low…
I think I want to place a second order…any suggestion?
No need to apologize Dexter! I asked and am grateful for the info! I just got "The Tea Drinker’s Handbook by Francois-Xavier Delimas, Mathias Minet, and Christine Barbaste today. It’s a beautiful book and I’m excited to learn a ton :)
mj – oooh, where’d you get that?
christeana1 – what did you already order?
Well I’m an insomniac so I totally ignore caffeine content!
That might be why you’re an insomniac :)
Christeana, did you mention you never tried WP teas?
I think she’d love WP too :)
Lol, I want the whole world to try them :-)
