zojirushi water bottles- nonstick coating vs slicksteel

So, I own two bottles, both have the slicksteel finish. Now, mine says to not put dairy in the bottle which is a bummer because sometimes I’d love to take a chai or matcha latte with me which contains milk. I’ve noticed some of their other bottles don’t have the slicksteel finish but instead have a nonstick coating. What’s the difference? Can I put dairy in those ones?
