Butiki Traveling Educational Box NUMBER TWO - On the move!
Believe it or not, I’m ready to send the box on to Stephanie. I went through and pulled out little samples of the things I want to try and put them in bags here. I figured there’s no reason for the box to wait while I sample things. I’m working out a time to meet up with Stephanie in the next few days.
I’m guessing there was too much overflow from the last box or something? Or did I just get dropped cause I didn’t realise we were supposed to PM addresses to someone already?
Excited to meet Stephanie for lunch tomorrow and the box hand off!
I officially now have the box from Marzipan! Haven’t opened it yet but based on the weight of the box I am going to be quite overwhelmed!
Also it was super cool to meet a Steepster friend in person for the first time! So you guys are real people, huh? lol! :D
Did you put the addresses of the folks sharing this box inside the box, or should we be sharing our addresses with the person before us on the list? You’ve probably covered this, but I probably wasn’t paying attention… :)

The box is all packaged back up and ready to head to KiwiDelight tomorrow. Kiwi I will send you a tracking number tomorrow afternoon!
Since I took very little tea, and there are still literally POUNDS of tea left in the box, I didn’t feel like I should add any. Also nothing I took out is completely gone from the box, there is still some left of all of them! Here is what a drank or took out enough of to drink later-
1/2 cup servings of first flush darjeelings 1-5
1 cup servings of China Puerh #2 #7 and #8, gyokuro, gyokuro #2, India green, Red Jade, White darjeeling silver needle, Kenyan White Handrolled, and a very twisty unique looking little dude that was just called “green tea china”

I thought about that a bit when I had the box, and in my opinion the best place is on this thread. Most of the teas are named things like “Chinese black 1” and the like, so it’s not like anyone would be able to identify a tea to order again. Because of that I’m not sure there is any value to people other than the others who will have the same samples available. What do you think?

Also, maybe consider adding a new company to the tea database “Educational Traveling Box” or something similar. That way all of the reviews can be pulled up together?
Do we need to distinguish between box 1 and box 2 or are the labels on the individual teas different enough to avoid confusion?
