In this house we tend to go with a blend of chamomile and licorice root. It’s just one that we mix ourselves out of bulk licorice root and cheap chamomile bags. It doesn’t taste very nice (not to me anyway), but the licorice root is very soothing on the throat.

Tazo ginger green with lemon and honey was my perfect cold blend. I drank two boxes in one week. I think next time I better find an herbal blend.

Thanks for the suggestions. Today I’m trying the Choconut Oolong. Yes, I know oolong isn’t an herb… I just wanted to see how this tea was on a sore throat.

Foxtrot is a big one. Tulsi and Chamomile, served with honey is another. And homemade ginger tea.
