What is your favorite white tea?
Hey. I want to order a really good white tea and I’m thinking silver needle but I’m not sure where to buy from. I know the Teavire silver needle is really well reviewed here, but does anyone have any other suggestions?
Well, as evidenced by our offering… you’ll notice we are big fans of Pai Mu Tan (or Bai mu dan) white tea… Also known as White Peony. We like a nice bushy big premium leaf.
I, personally, love silver needle… my fiance prefers the blends.
This is one of my favorite white teas so far: http://steepster.com/teas/butiki-teas/22253-cantaloupe-and-cream
Except White Peony and Silver Needle, We also have a flavored White tea: Jasmine Silver Needle White Tea. It’s quite tasty, smooth and sweet as well.
Currently it’s Numi’s White Rose tea. That is subject to change however as I have some spring 2015 silver needle and white jasmine on the way from Yunnan Sourcing.
Chamraj Nilgiri white tea – Springing from the Allada Valley, these old silver leaves are rolled to form wiry needles with a silky texture. The yellow-orange brew explodes in your mouth with a floral bouquet. A fresh and brisk cup, it makes one reminiscence the mountain side vacations.
Our staff favorite is our Brick Aged White Tea! It turned 8 years old this month.

We source all of our tea from one organic white tea farm high up on the Tai Mu mountain in Fujian. Hope you find what you are looking for!
