It's Almost Spring Tea Season...
And I cannot wait to get some fresh tea! Anyone waiting to get this years round of spring tea? I’m planning on ordering (or pre-ordering) some Japanese greens from Yunomi probably, Maybe a darjeeling, and some Chinese greens. To help me pass the time, tell me what you’ve got your eye on! Any particular types of teas you’re thinking about getting fresh from this year’s harvest?
Even though I’m not a big green tea drinker, I always want to get some fresh green tea in the spring. I’m thinking of getting some Anji Bai Cha and Handmade Bi Luo Chun from Teavivre this year. Has anyone tried the pre-Qingming greens from companies like White2Tea, Bitterleaf, or The Sweetest Dew? I’d be interested to hear if they’re worth the hype/price.
Also, does anyone have a Teavivre gift certificate they don’t plan on using?
Somehow, I consider getting more of Wooricha. It is a black tea for special occasions, but I would like to focus on it more. Also, new harvets of Georgian tea is almost a must (no matter if it will be Guria Likhauri, or I will try again direct from Georgia).
No fresh green teas I guess. Also there is 15 % off on Paper&Tea website!
The $10 shipping charge dissuaded me from ordering greens from White2Tea. I was also worried that they’d be too bitter. You’ll have to let us know how the Book Cover Green turns out.
I’m thinking of getting two 50 g bags from Teavivre, but you’re right, that’s a lot of green tea for someone whose first love is oolong. :)
