Caffeine free drinks

What are your favourite herbal teas, tisanes, etc?

I seem to be particularly sensitive to caffeine at the moment but don’t want to give up slowing down and sipping on a relaxing hot drink before bed.

I received some good suggestions here – https://steepster.com/discuss/44083-help-i-need-decaf-options. If you’re open to decaf blends, some of my favorites are from Harney & Sons → Decaf Hot Cinnamon Spice, Decaf Paris, and Vanilla Comoro. I also like the Decaf House Blend from Plum Deluxe. For caffeine-free herbal/fruit blends, I like the ones below. I think all of these should still be available.

Honeybush Strawberry – Satori Tea Company
Dandelion Black Tea – Whispering Pines (it’s an herbal, not a black tea)
Wild Laoshan Mulberry Leaf – Verdant Tea
Strawberry Fields Forever – Biscuit and Brew Tea House (formerly Arthur Dove Tea Co.)
Very Berry Delicious – My Cup of Tea (Memphis)
Alpine Punch Rooibos – DAVIDsTEA
Glazed Lemon Loaf – Tazo
Ice Cave Blue Tea Herbal – Harbor Tea & Spice
Rooibos Vanilla Chai – Adagio
Cinnamon Chai Rooibos – Paromi

I can send you some. I have plenty. Is there anything in particular you don’t like? Or are allergic to?

Just noticed you are in Australia! Sweet. What is tea culture like down there??

Thanks that is a very kind offer. I won’t take you up on it today, I’ve only just jumped back here after a few years absence and don’t want to immediately start taking before I contribute.

Australians love their tea, all types being a multicultural country. We have a few specialty tea stores that can be found in the major shopping malls. It can still be hard to get a decent cup of tea from a coffee shop and there are not many specialty tea shops where you can sit and sip. Coffee culture is definitely stronger here.

Ah okay. So kinda like how it is in the States. I know that New Zealand has their own tea, Zealong, Australia doesn’t do they? Boy I think the terroir could produce some unique flavors!!

There are some local tea producers. Nerada is the big one. Madura is another.

I know them as typical supermarket quality blended black and green teas. I don’t know of any locally grown higher quality specialty teas. That’s some thing for me to explore!
