Favorite Dessert Teas?

I’ve been craving dessert teas lately, especially ones that are creamy! I searched through discussions, but many are 7+ years old, and several of the companies and teas referenced are no longer available, so I thought I would start a new discussion. What are your favorite dessert teas?

Cookie and White Christmas, both by Lupicia. They are ALWAYS in my tea stash. Super good, liked sweet baked goods, but without the sugar!

Dessert teas are my jam!!! Sadly, some of my very favorites were from A Quarter to Tea and Butiki, which have both gone out of business. 52Teas consistently has good ones, but their stock is always changing, so it’s hard to name a specific one. A few I love that ARE currently available include:

- The Black Lodge from August Uncommon (my husband isn’t a tea-drinker, but he asked for seconds on this one!)
- Sweet Potato Pie by David’s Tea (this one is seasonal, but worth seeking out in the winter months!)
- Coconut Truffle by Fava Tea (the BEST dessert tea at my local tea shop…tastes like you melted an Almond Joy bar into your cup!)
- Come On In Salted Caramel by My Cup of Tea (a great tea that supports a good cause!)
- Glazed Lemon Loaf by Tazo (this is my very favorite bagged tea and one I always keep on hand)

I’d second 52teas for ever-changing options! And Sweet Potato Pie is a fave of mine from DavidsTea too. Same with Salted Caramel Oolong, Read my Lips (chocolate mint), Chocolate Earl Grey.

I’ll add more if I think of them.

I like all “the Necessiteas” fruit blends I have had so far: Cherry Crisp, Hawaiian Delight, Banana Maple Oatmeal. These also have a slight creaminess to them, especially if they have oats, white chocolate or coconut which a lot of the blends do.

Dessert by Deb’s Salted Toffee Blondie is really good. I personally think it tastes like Caramel popcorn as a latte.

Not necessarily creamy unless you make them as a latte but: Adagio’s Wizard’s Grey and Irish Stout are chocolatey and pretty good if you add full fat or original oatly.

For me, mostly I prefer Chinese black teas as dessert teas:
Jin Jun Mei
Lapsang Souchong
Yunnan Gold
