Do not use silica gel desiccant in your tea caddy

Silica gel absorbs both aroma and moisture.
It will keep your tea dry longer.
But your tea will lose its flavor quickly with a silica packet.
If you can’t believe this, try it.

I’ve never seen this silica desiccant used in famous tea brand like Fortnum&Mason, Mariage Freres, etc. There’s a reason for it.
