Hi Everyone…Zach here. I’ve been using Steepster to log some tastings for a while now, and I am looking to connect with more people! Looking forward to meeting you all and please check out what I have been drinking, and I’ll do the same. See you on Steepster!
I am new here :) Thanks for this thread! :)
happy to have you here tiffany, welcome to the madness :)
Hello all….I bought some tea for a brother last Christmas, and wound up getting hooked the the stuff myself!
My taste tends to favor the strong black teas, but i have several nice oolongs in my cupboard as well as a couple of really good Darjeelings. I’m just know beginning to explore the area of green tea.
I’ve on Steepster for some time, but have just found the confidence to start logging my tasting notes.
Looking forward to meeting my fellow Steepsterites.
Gene
YAY! logging notes – it’s all about whatever YOU want them to be. always nice to see new people joining up :)
Hi all,
I’m new as of today and I’m loving this site! I wish I knew a about it sooner. I look forward to finding new teas to try.
you’ll find LOTS of those via steepster :) welcome!
New people, make sure you read notes on how to get free sample tea from Teavivre. No shipping cost or anything. Most of us have received tea from vendors who want us to try their tea, write reviews and purchase what we like (hopefully). No strings attached naturally.
Hi Bonnie, How do we get the free samples?
www.teavivre.com look on the right lower side to where it says ‘Free Tea’ tasting activities, free tea writing reviews. They send you tea without you getting ad’s or any strings attached other than you should review the tea on Steepster. It takes about a month to get the tea. When you have finished reviewing the first round of selections, you’ll be offered more. (Over time I’ve received about 30 samples).
Thank you Bonnie I’ll check teavivre soon
Long time tea drinker and Steepster lurker. I’ve always enjoyed reading everyone’s tasting notes and I have based some of my purchases on them in the past. Would love to get into trying out different tea, purchasing from recommended vendors, swapping and just getting to know people that shares my interest in tea. I still need to really get into updating my cupboard list :)
welcome out from the lurking! :)
See my tip on free samples above if you’re interested.
Thank you. I will definitely check it out :)
Instructions for getting free samples from teavivre. www.teavivre.com look at the right bottom of the page where it says ‘Free Tea’ Tasting Activity getting free samples writing reviews. Sign up! If you review all the tea’s, you’ll be offered more. Takes about a month to get the tea.
Hi Bonnie, since I don’t keep my own blog right now, do I put down my steepster link as my blog address?
Good idea. Angel will contact you probably with a message on Steepster(see the envelope at top of dashboard to the right) and will ask for your address.
Free tea is hard to come by. I’ll have to check this out!
Hi Alex, how you been?! Did you go to the tea festival in Boulder?I didn’t see you. Hope you’re well!
