New York City tea shopping

I’m rather a novice when it comes to tea, and I gravitate towards greens (including matcha) and more so whites, but I’m not opposed to a black tea in the morning.

I’m usually in New York City on business at least twice a month. My opportunities to explore are generally limited to after 5pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. I work in the financial district and stay in midtown, so any spots from midtown and south would be great.

I’m looking for recommendations for tea shops to explore and perhaps shops in Little Tokyo where I could find a unique matcha bowl.

I’ve been to Harney & Sons in SoHo once, and I’ll definitely be going back.

What else should I make the effort to visit? Ippodo? Tea Drunk? …?
