Alkaline, Anti-Oxidant Water for tea?

The water where I live is HORRID- very hard, dries up my skin and gunks up my electric tea kettle. I want to have water delivered and have been looking at various local companies. One offers “Alkaline, Anti-Oxidant Water”. Although I understand alkalinity in terms of health, I had to wonder just what I should be looking for in water that will be good for both my tea and my kettle. (Currently I am not in the market for water purifiers or purifying pitcher filters). Any information you all have based on your experiences is welcome!!
