Which tea of Teavivre do you like best?

The top three sellings will public at the end of this week on http://www.facebook.com/teavivreI unfortunately have not experience enough Teavivre to say yet but will be sampling more tomorrow! So far I have only had the pleasure of trying one, and it was wonderful but I am sure that my favorite will Goddess Oolong as I have so been waiting to try it! I am anxious but want to refrain from steeping tonight, it is too late and I fear I won’t be able to fully appreciate it in my sleepy state.
I am so in love with Oolong and have heard many good things about Goddess and so many wonderful things about Teavivre! I have peeked in the sample package and it looks and smells DEVINE!
This is the one I will have tomorrow afternoon and will let you know if it was all I have dreamed of :)

Definitely Bailin Gongfu! (of the few that I’ve had, but anyway) And that is because it reminds me so much of Tan Yang which is my very favourite black tea in the whoooooooole world. So yummy nummy. Teavivre’s particular Bailin was SO CLOSE to what I expect from an awesome TY that I honestly don’t think I would have been able to tell them apart in a blind test. (Now, if you were to happen to coincidentally get your hands on a batch of TY, I would be all over that like white on rice!)
I think I’ve only posted about it once on Steepster, but that post was all full of squee. Had two cups of it just last night as a matter of fact. :)
Thanks for your suggestion, I think it will not take a long time that Tan Yang teas are sold on our online site. Tan Yang is a well-known black tea, which produced in Fujian. Meanwhile, it is not only a premium black tea, but also has remarkable health benefits.
to be honest, as soon as it says ‘Fujian’ on the label, I’m pretty much sold. It’s my favourite area to drink tea from. :)
And YAY! I’ll keep an eye out for that. Here in Denmark it’s not very common to find it. There is one shop I use regularly which have, but that’s in a blend of some sort with, I think a white, adding a strange floral aspect to it so it’s not the same at all. I’ve had a tip about a different shop where they’ve got one, but I haven’t had the chance to check it out yet.
Fujian is a famous province for tea. Many our teas are come from Fujian. Such as our Bailin Gongfu, Jasmine teas, etc. And sometimes, it is indeed very hard to find a authentic tea in a foreign country.
Yes, the Danish market seems much more geared towards India and Sri Lanka, which I personally think is a shame because the Chinese are so much nicer and can handle a lot more abuse before they’re ruined. I find the Indian teas in particular tend to get undrinkably bitter at the smallest error. If you go into a teashop in Denmark and ask for a Chinese black, I can almost guarantee you that in 99% of the cases, they will give you Keemun. And while I enjoy Keemun immensely (probably favourite after the Fujians, still searching for the perfect one though), it just doesn’t represent China as a whole. You can’t even be certain that they’ll have a simple Lapsang Souchong. Luckily I’ve already found my perfect LS so that’s less of a problem. :)
I know for a fact that my favorite is not among the top three but I’ll be honest. My favorite is the Organic Taimu Maojian Green Tea.
My favorite is a little different from everyone else on here, it seems, so I doubt I’ll be winning! But my favorite is the Silver Jasmine Tea.
Based on my own notes it seems like my favorites were the two black teas (keemum hao ya and bailin gong fu) and the unflavored pu-erh which you generously allowed me to sample. But, I believe that this reflects my preferences in tea more than it reflects any distinctions in quality between all the teas you offered. They were all very good quality and high value for money, even though some of them may be varieties of tea I don’t drink very often.
