Is this bad for the tea?

I always wondered about this as well. I always figured it would affect the taste and longevity of the tea but was never really sure so it’s great to finally know the truth. I don’t think it would come off as mean or inconsiderate if you just told them how you felt. But, as a precaution you could probably try to word it as nice as possible. Good luck!
