Thanks for keeping us updated!

Can whoever is after me (anyone else in Canada or the first person in the USA) message me their address? Also, feel free to request teas from my cupboard be put into the box.

Arby – I think I’m after you? I don’t know, the main list hasn’t been updated.

That’s what I was thinking, but I’m not 100% sure. Can you message me your address? Unless someone says otherwise, I’m going to assume I’m sending it to you.

Alright, I’ll send you a message.

Question—I have a variety of David’s Teas, but some are good but a bit dated. Americans, are you still interested in them or only in current ones? Do tell.

Personally, I definitely don’t like to add older teas in swaps or teaboxes, especially if they are smaller companies. (I wouldn’t want to give a bad impression of a smaller company) (Davids is big enough of a company.) But I don’t mind trying older teas, especially if I know the age of the tea.

Im going to leave that up to everyone else. Personally I only buy from smaller companies now like Rakkasan or Verdant which directly supports the tea farmers and I don’t like tea with sugar in it anymore which I feel like many of David’s big ones do.

There are some teas that become better with age, aka pu er. But some like ceremonial matcha and green teas should be consumed within 3-6 months. It all depends on what they may have in them, when they were picked, how they were processed… etc

I personally usually don’t get too bothered by dates (and take age into account when I try something) unless coconut is involved. In my own collection I’ve had coconut go acrid on me even in completely sealed tea samplers in as little as six months, so I get a little warey of aged teas that include coconut as an ingredient.

Evol Ving Ness – This might sound odd, but can Evol Ving Ness please explain the second evol-ving username (like actually log in to your Evol Ving Ness to explain?) It’s just weird that there are two usernames for you, and it’s almost like the Evol-Ving is impersonating Evol Ving Ness. Blink twice if you’re okay. haha. I know you said your wifi is patchy!

It was explained on this tea review: https://steepster.com/evol-ving/posts/378508

oh okay, I was just thinking how easy it would be for someone to pretend to be someone else with a similar username on Steepster? To steal a teabox? Though that seems like quite the long con…. I read too many books. haha

Hey, is it too late to join in on the US portion of this? I definitely have a bunch of things I could throw in.

Skysamurai said

Nope. But we are having trouble unfortunately contacting the person who currently has the box _

Yay! I live in Tennessee and would be happy to join wherever is convenient for you guys in the order.

My apologies, Everyone, for the delay. My September took off at full gallop and I wasn’t able to attend to the box. The box is now in motion. I have sent Arby the tracking #, but it should get to her this week. I could barely close the thing.

I hope to update the contents of the box, ie. What I sampled, removed, and added by the weekend.

Sorry to have caused you worry.
