I have not tried this one (infact I’ve never even heard of it til now), but it looks interesing. I’ve never seen cocoa peel as an ingredient.

I have not tried any of them, but Tea for All Reasons has 16 chocolate blends and they all look amazing!=D
Alright, after all my delaying, at the very least, I’ve finally added the ones I’m interested in to my shopping list. All were great recommendations and I’d love to try them all, but I have to narrow them down. Unfortunately, no chai teas made the list because I just can’t do chai…sorry. So, here goes:
Malted ChocoMaté by 52Teas

Dawn by The Simple Leaf

Chili-Chocolate Black Tea by TeaGschwendner

Chocolate Chip by Adagio

Now, all I have to do is actually place the orders…
I highly doubt you can’t do chai… oh my gosh I’m channeling my mother! haha =D anyway, maybe one day you’ll be brave enough to try it. I never thought I’d enjoy rose flavored teas as much as I do now:)
Ha, sure, I bet I can physically manage to drink chai, I just know I won’t like it. I’m just not a fan of the spices. I have tried chai on 2 separate occasions though and neither was pleasurable.
But I do have to admit my first experience came from my earlier tea drinking days when, for some reason, I thought chai was just regular tea with milk and sugar already added. I unknowingly ordered a berry chai from s-bucks and was surprised and displeased when I finally tried it. Quite a shock. It wasn’t the best introduction to say the least :)
Keep the door open. Maybe one day you’ll find yourself liking it- even craving it. It’s happened w/ both tea and food before:) Unfortunately I’ve also had the “craaappp… I used to love that…” experience.
Haha I just noticed something, you can’t do chai but you can do chill? Maybe you’d like Mayan Chocolate Chai after all since it’s about 95% chocolate and cayenne.
Is it really? I don’t mean I can’t do the spices in chai because they are too “spicy” as in hot, it’s just the flavor I’m not the biggest fan of.
Yeah the other spices just round it out and give it depth and complexity.
Boo depth and complexity. Yea shallow and simple flavors! ;)
Chili-chocolate by TeaGshwendner is WOW! The chili is not as strong as in 52teas Mayan Chocolate Chai, but it does have a nice warming effect.
I’d also like to suggest Florence by Harney & Sons. The chocolate is deep and rich.
None of the chocolate teas I have tasted ever really tasted like chocolate to me. I will have to try some of the ones mentioned.
Jason, I’m so glad you got Malted ChocoMate and Dawn. They are both two of my absolute favorites! The ChocoMate tastes really good if you add sugar and a splash of half and half. As for the Dawn, it tastes good no matter what you add (or don’t). I personally want everybody on this site to have the experience of Dawn.
Chocolate Chip from Adagio, it actually has chocolate chips in the tea!!
The one thing I don’t like about chocolate (and other flavored chips) is that they melt leaving additional infusions weaker than unflavored teas or teas flavored in another manner.
I saw this and couldn’t resist posting even though I have not tried it yet. YUMMY!
i came across this Chocolate flavored tea from India which is very good
Lamsa Flavored Tea which is pure flavored tea
Lasa Tea which is just black Tea
Lasa Lamsa Mix Tea which is 25% Lamsa and 75% Lasa Tea
You can order online at www.lasalamsa.com
I might be biased, but anything from DAVIDsTEA with chocolate in the title has yet to get a bad review, and I do enjoy Chocolate Storm from Murchie’s… but I am biased there is very little that I won’t like so long as chocolate is in the title somewhere…
