Hello, Salam!

We are Haji Tea a new tea brand selling tea grown in Amlash, Gilan Province, Northern Iran but blended and packed in London, UK.

My late grandad Haji Reza was a tea merchant who sold tea on a stall on the Grand Bazaar in Teheran. After his passing and to keep his spirit and memory alive I set up Haji Tea.

Very cool, I’ve heard of tea from Iran but never seen it for sale. Do you sell any pure tea (no flowers, etc.)?

Hi, Iranian tea is not easy to find, even in Iran. Tea production is not huge and was in decline for a number of years but seems to be picking up again. Our tea is of great quality and we have tried quite a few local varieties. We can sell pure, without any additional herbs and spices, no problem. Nice, I’ve had Persian tea but assumed it was just Turkish tea with rose added. Didn’t know Iran grew its own tea.

I too would like to be able to buy the straight tea without any flavorings.
