Brewing coffee in a gaiwan? tea lover vs barista battle. Hilarious

There is actually one method of tea brewing where coffee brewing is the same, cold brewing. In both cases you use similar apparatus, a jug with a filter holder for the coffee or tea. If you do an Amazon search for cold brew coffee maker you will come up with stuff that is pretty much the same as a cold brew tea maker.

I think the real question is not can you brew coffee in a gaiwan, the question is why would you want to, it not as if you can resteep coffee like you can tea. A gaiwan is used for tea when you want a lot of steepings.
