Steepster Select October Giveaway

This is a tough one. Who to pick, who to pick? I’ve just recently given Harney and Sons a go and I have to say I really enjoy their tea. Hot Cinnamon is a new instant favorite! They have a huge online selection to offer customers as well as great deals in their newsletters. The employees are super friendly on the phone. Just found out the factory is only an hour from my house (my husband does not consider this a plus)

I also found my local market carries a small selection of their top teas so if ever I run out I know where I can go in a pinch.

A close second are DAVIDsTEA, Adagio, and 52 teas….why can’t I pick them all!!!

My favorite is always changing as well. But my go-to place that hasn’t disappointed is Upton tea. They have a great selection, good customer service, and good prices. Love them! I also love Harney & Sons mostly because they are local for me, and I love going to the shop to taste and smell the teas that I’m interested in. They are always cheerful and helpful.

I love David’s Tea. I have been drinking loose leaf tea for a few years now but it was just some basic ones and I really didn’t know what I was doing. Since discovering David’s I have branched into teas I had never even heard of before and am loving them. They make really great flavoured teas that actually taste like what they say they do and I am never dissapointed in a tea from one purchase to another (rebuys). I live about 45 minutes from a store so don’t often get in but their online shop is great and I have always had wonderful customer service, whether in store or online.

I hope to get a chance to try some other tea shops in the future but I think David’s will always be my first love.

TeaGuys (aka Tease) in South Hadley, MA, is my favorite. They specialize in unique flavor combinations, and they source only the freshest ingredients. But the real reason why I love TeaGuys is because my wife and I fell in love while drinking their Green Walnut tea. We even had them design a tea tin for our wedding favors. They will forever have a place in my heart.

Offline my favorite shop is Cha Cha Tea in Kingston, Ontario. I was first introduced to the joys of loose leaf tea there, and Kaoru is always helpful and informative when helping me to select a tea.

Online, I’ve always been pleased with Harney & Sons.

I would have to say Samovar. They seem to have a connection with the farmers that they get their tea from and tea drinkers all around. Of all the places that I have gotten tea, Davidstea,Adiago,Teavana,, and small local shops I feel like their tea is always so fresh. While I think that they are a little pricey, they seem to bring the experience of Samovar to a customer like myself living in Texas. No they are not whimsical like Davidstea, but they have a passion to deliver the finest tea to me like me;).

Rishi Tea simply because of their “super green”.

DavidsTea! Great prices, great quality, great selection. There’s other companies I like a lot, but DavidsTea is the only company I can guarantee I’ll like ANYTHING from.

I’ll have to second those who said Den’s… but, that’s probably obvious from anyone who reads my reviews!

- They are the reason I discovered many kinds of tea (Japanese greens to be sure, but this led me to find other teas that I also enjoy).
- Their website is well designed, and every month they update the site, and come out with a new offer.
- Even their “basic” teas are excellent, and wouldn’t get boring if drunk everyday.
- Free sample(s) with every order! (and you can make requests!)

Dobra Tea in Burlington, Vermont (or Prague, Madison, Asheville, Portland). The selection is amazing, staff knowledge exceptional, and environment is perfect. Having tea at Dobra isn’t just an event, it’s an experience. Every time.
