What-Cha! My favorite hei cha from Myanmar came from Alistair.

Oh really? What is it called?

Dang, he’s sold out. It was a 2006 kokang. Sheng like, very firmly pressed, so some age but not as much as you’d think.

That’s the one!

Omg how weird I was going to get some of that and just made an order with cws and didn’t get any.

I got some of that fancy stuff in the cigarette packet though. And Malaysian big leaf stuff. I missed both last time..

I really like cws for its heicha

I got some of this https://www.chawangshop.com/2016-myanmar-xiao-bing-cha-200g.html

And some huangpian. I love me some yellow leaf

Nice! Have you tried the Xiao bing?

I’d be happy to send you some of the 2006 if you’re still interested in it.

Rasseru said 7 years ago

No, I haven’t tried it. I don’t think I’m going to like it much until it’s got a few years on it but I’ve taken the plunge and next week I have a pumidor.

I’ve heard it’s rough and bitter all the way through :)

Yes, I would love to taste something from Myanmar with ten years on it (I know it’s different tea but..)

Im guessing heicha isn’t faked like puerh so it’s easier to get good stuff from random Ebay or taobao sellers?
