In case you haven’t tried the sample of our Blueberry Merlot.
We are pleased to announce that Tea Forte’s Herbal Retreat – Blueberry Merlot has won first place in the Flavored Herbal Blends category of the Hot Tea Class.
To choose the recipient of this award, the judging panel of professional cuppers assessed each submission through blind organoleptic analysis of the following characteristics: dry leaf; brewed color; brewed aroma; brewed flavor; brewed mouth-feel; brewed harmony. The ratings of each characteristic were then used to calculate an overall numerical value on a 100-point scale, and winners were determined by rank.
In recognition of its superior evaluation, World Tea Media presented the First Place North American Tea Champion Award to Tea Forte for its Herbal Retreat – Blueberry Merlot.

We have tried a couple of the Single Steep Herbal Samplers and are enjoying them so far (not the Blueberry Merlot yet). The packaging is probably the most colorful and professional looking of any tea I’ve ever seen or purchased. I don’t like to admit it (that appearance matters), but packaging can make a difference on a purchase, as long as I know there is a quality product inside of it.
