Tea in Smoothies

I’ve recently become so obsessed with 2 things.
1. Jasmine Tea
2. Smoothies
Naturally I combined the two! I’ve got a little creative with it but my fav was banana and blueberry. Not too thick, nice and refreshing! I also made a peach one and a green one: https://www.tastethetea.co.uk/2017/07/04/tea-smoothie-recipes/

Anyone else tried this? If so what tea smoothie combos have you made? I want to keep experimenting!

Interesting idea, I never thought to use cold brewed tea in a smoothie. The closest I’ve made to tea smoothies are matcha frappes. I would think the flavor of a tea would be lost amidst the fruit and veggies.

Cold brewed tea infused with fruit might be a better pairing.

I’ve found that it really depends on the fruit/tea combo you’re using! I’ve used sencha in a few different ways, and it’s mostly lost or faint in some variations. Jasmine tea works wonders though, it’s such a prominent flavour that it overcomes nearly everything!

I’d send a message to VariaTea! She’s a BIG fan of tea smoothies, and has had some pretty wild/interesting combinations :)

Ohhh! thanks for the heads up!I can’t find a member search D:

If you look in the top right corner there’s a button that says “Invite Friends” – if you click that, from there you can find a search bar where one of the options is to type in member usernames. You should be able to find people that way.
